How can we create cheaper, cleaner, smaller propulsion systems for the thousands of nanosats cruising over our head? The answer is simple: electricity!
Constellations of nanosats are currently cruising above our heads. Those small devices needs propulsion to navigate and fulfill their missions. Yet thrusters are often heavy, toxic and are relying too much on fuel. Accion Systems built the next-generation ion thruster and it's as tiny as the nanosats themselves!


Louis Perna is the Chief Scientist of Accion Systems.
